Slap the plaster on

After a full house re-wire, the electricians chased the walls and damaged some coving. The walls were wallpapered, so the work made the rooms look messy. Cue the plasterer, who arrived and filled all the chasing out work with filler and on top of the paper. Now you'd at first you'd blame the plasterer who should've peeled the paper back away from the chasing work before applying filler and that'd be right but you also have a case for the people instructing the works to ensure everything was done in the right order.
This job needed the wallpaper removed from all the rooms before the electrical work began. You'd of had the option then to skim the walls and paint or re-paper the walls. Either option would've made this house look great.
Unfortunately, the house now looks a mess and all because the work wasn't completed in the right order.
