Cleaning

Having completed thousands of end-of-tenancy cleans we’ve seen every state of property you can imagine. From the nearly pristine to someone who literally walked out with just the clothes on their back. We’ve seen pet cleans, builders cleans, student cleans, infestations with fleas and rats and of course the ones you’ve seen on TV where the tenant hoarded everything. We set our standards high right from the start and we treat every clean like it’s our first. Our business goal is to ensure our clients are happy with our work and we always return if something has been missed, we are human. We’ve recently started completing end-of-week office cleaning for some of our clients who like the idea of a refreshed office ready for the new week. We know how a clean office improves productivity. We use a range of cleaning products to suit the job we are presented with. We follow a checklist process with every job to ensure we have cleaned, vacuumed, mopped and refreshed every room. So if you need an end-of-tenancy clean then come to the people who’ve completed over 1,500 properties and see why our clients keep coming back to use us again and again.

Frequently Asked Questions

Removing cobwebs, vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, cleaning of windows, doors and handles, skirting, architrave, windowsills, bannisters, dusting or wiping of flat surfaces, removing lime scale from shower screens, showers, bathtubs and taps, polishing of taps and water fittings, disinfecting and cleaning of w/c’s, cleaning of drawers, cupboards and wardrobes, removing minor patches of mould from walls and tiles (not matt painted walls), wiping down kitchen cabinets and worktops, cleaning of fridge/freezers (if defrosted), washing machines, microwaves and dishwashers. Under a standard end-of-tenancy clean we do not clean the tops of kitchen units unless specifically asked to. Cleaning of ovens, hobs and extractors is given as a separate price due to the process used. With soft furnishings e.g. sofas, chairs, mattresses, we will clean visible dust/dirt but we do not strip the items down or apart to clean unless specifically asked to.

Cleaning does not include wiping of walls or ceilings as the chemicals will damage paintwork. Any property with pet hair is a deep clean and not a standard end-of-tenancy clean. The cleaning does not include aluminium, fabric blinds or curtains. Please note if we have been asked to clean specific items and rooms then other unclean items and rooms seen whilst there will not be cleaned.

We use VAX cleaners that have proven to be much more effective than the so called professional cleaners on the market. They remove the majority of the water so often feel dry when checked. If your carpets are still wet after a shampoo then there is potential for that water to remain underneath the carpet/underlay and may cause mould and unwelcome smells. We do offer a steam clean system that does a much deeper clean but is more expensive than the standard carpet shampoo. Wool blend carpets don't tend to do well with cleaning and we always recommend to our clients to use polypropylene barber type carpets for longevity.

Oven cleaning is a time consuming and chemical heavy process. Some ovens can take over an hour to clean and still not be great. We use a mixture of chemicals and steam to try to remove grease from the oven, hob and extractor. We always try our best with oven cleaning but sometimes they can be beyond recovery.
